International & American Associations for Dental Research - Membership Benefits Coordinator, Scientific Groups/Networks

Responsible for communicating with IADR/AADR volunteer leaders, members and prospective members about IADR/AADR membership benefits and services, specifically supporting the over 30 IADR Scientific Groups/Networks in maintaining membership, awards, website presence and assisting in email communications. Must be customer service oriented and comfortable managing a complex workload. The IADR/AADR is seeking someone with a high level of proficiency with content management system and broadcast email services. This position is designated as management-level “exempt” under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and reports directly to the Associate Executive Director.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Groups/Networks in coordinating broadcast email communications and updating website information and collection of information for annual officer elections officers for annual elections.
• Collect and maintain Annual Reports and routine communications from Officers.
• Update database with new Group/Network officer information.
• Group/Network awards management
• Collect names for Group/Network representation on IADR and AADR Councils.
• Provide data files and reports to Group/Network officers.
• Reviews GL account balances and coordinates quarterly payments of dues with Finance Dept.
• Collects annual tax information as necessary
• Update database records
• As part of Meetings, Membership and Marketing Department team, routinely respond to and provide assistance in regard to Group/Network officers and general membership and meeting registration questions.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 2-3 years work experience, preferably in an Association
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency with content management systems
• Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office
• Data management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to travel 2-3 times per year. (10% internationally)
