Mid-to-Late February Blues

Those renegade bursts of unusually warm weather we get every January and early February always sucker us into believing Spring is around the corner; then we get a cold and/or wet run like we're in the grip of now.  This is the spot on the calendar that always tests us – although the glass-half-full precincts of our disposition note that average high temps in the area start to hit 50 degrees come Feb. 25.
