Paraskevidekatriaphobia

Friday the 13th got off to a great start – first, we spilled some coffee on our shirt, and the we learned that the usually ultra-dependable blogger platform has shut down the ability to post and sent yesterday’s posts (ours and everyone's) into digital Siberia [happily enough, Thursday's post has new finally returned to the fold]. Finally, at about 1:30 p.m., it appears we're allowed back in to bring you today's post. Awesome – who says there's no such thing as paraskevidekatriaphobia?

Friday’s baffling-to-us job resource is DC Urban Employ, whose current business model appears to be based on making folks register to see jobs otherwise directly available on Idealist.

On that confounding note, your favorite public affairs jobs resource will see you at our favorite watering hole, where the usual happy hour deal is being extended all evening as the endpoint of their 5 year anniversary fest.
