The Internship supports communications work of Partnership as it raises awareness of the benefits of evidence-based prevention in health policies and enhances Partnership’s reputation as a leading credible source for information on evidence-based prevention. The internship is unpaid.

Program Goals: Offer students meaningful work experience focused on advancing clinical preventive care, health communications, and/or health policy – Facilitate interaction with Partnership staff – Provide social media health communications experience

Desired skills and Competencies – B.A./B.S. – Relevant experience in social media channels – Demonstrated excellence in writing & editing for the Web – Strong oral & written communication skills – Ability to work independently – Team player willing to perform a variety of tasks

Primary Responsibilities – Enhance Partnership for Prevention’s social networking presence to increase reach and engagement, and optimize blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube – Implement technical infrastructure to advance, build, & maintain PfP’s Facebook page – Develop podcasts & integrated social media strategy
