The Program for Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service has a call out for an Administrative Assistant/Events Coordinator. Pay is in the $35k-$38k range; you should probably check to see if the “term position through June 30, 2009” note is accurate.

The Center for Responsive Politics, tireless sleuths on the trail of money's influence on U.S. politics, is seeking a Communications Director to serve as their chief communications strategist, spokesperson, and the editor of the their blog and various reports. Applications will be considered immediately; and a May 8 deadline is also noted.

JPMorgan Chase is looking for a Government Relations Director (search DC location or job req ID 090018183) to represent JPMChase with federal government officials and foreign government officials in DC – presumably including some of these folks.

Writer/editor/proofer/designer types might be interested in this Director of Publications opportunity with healthcare nonprofit National Quality Forum. Can also search here, if link proves intractable.

The National Resources Defense Council has a fresh Director of Government Affairs opportunity – the usual blend of government-relations experience, leadership, communications, and professionalism is what they seem to want.

EEI Communications, the self-described premier Metro area publications company, is searching for a Team Leader – preferably of the outstanding variety – to coordinate publication, editorial and multimedia support services for one a government client. National Public Radio is looking for a Multimedia Marketing Associate to help craft materials for stations to grow the size and loyalty of the listening audience. The ideal candidate will be someone with a excellent knowledge of NPR News and other programming who is willing to immerse her/himself in that content and pull together tight promotional materials for stations nationwide.

NPR also seeks a Digital Health Correspondent/Editor with at least 10 years’ experience as a reporter or editor covering national health and science feature and news stories. Experience blogging on health matters also helpful.
