Maybe You Can "Google" the RAND Job?

The Office of the Director in the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health, is seeking a Director, Office of Communications and Legislative Activities. This is a career Federal position in the Senior Executive Service., with a salary range of $114k-$172k, closing on Nov. 21. Chosen candidate will will manage the Institute’s key policy, communications, public affairs, health campaigns and consumer services, legislation, Congressional activities, and FOI/Privacy Act and Privacy Act functions. Google is hitting the search button to find a Manager, Global Communications and Public Affairs for their DC office. The successful hire will lead Google's outreach efforts to trade associations and interest groups, and also work to make sure these alliances and activities gain media notice.

The Interactive Project Manager position at Qorvis Communications is responsible for managing large-scale website development projects, along with interactive and print products. Management of multiple interactive projects, along with providing strategic direction for clients are among the tasks described.

Research Associate opportunities are available at the Service Employees International Union for folks with progressive policy/activist experience and interest. They suggest you can wait apply as late as April 22, 2009 (which also opens this up for you 2009 graduates, I guess), but why put it off until then?
